The PTO is requesting discretionary funds to fill the projected gap in the budgeted funds and needed funds to celebrate seniors. Discretionary funding requests need PTO membership vote to approve. The PTO would like to ensure the celebration is meaningful to the seniors.
ACMA PTO has a long tradition of celebrating ACMA Seniors. The celebrations include a rehearsal breakfast, cakes at the commencement ceremony, and decorations for the events. In year before 2021, the PTO also sponsored a senior party with a budget of $5000. In recent years the party has transformed to a special breakfast and a few surprises for the seniors which has been well received.
The PTO budget needs to keep pace with the evolution of ACMA senior celebration. The PTO is requesting approval to fund up to $1000 to complete the senior celebration. Current budget is $3500 for all senior events. The PTO will vote on this request on May 13, 2025, during the PTO meeting. Thank you for the ACMA community support of ACMA students.
